About me
Who is behind NASAMA?
Hello, my name is Mélanie. I am a parenting practitioner and reflexologist.
Before creating Nasama, I worked for over 10 years in digital marketing as a web project manager. I loved my job, the challenges, the new projects… but the arrival of my three children profoundly changed my perspective.
Like many parents, I asked myself a thousand questions. I experienced doubts, searched for answers, and discovered how much having good support can make all the difference.
Over the years, a desire has become clear: to put my energy and skills at the service of families.
That's how Nasama was born.

NASAMA, a name with a story
I am often asked where the name NASAMA comes from.
Evoking a mysterious exotic destination for some, a wise word in a foreign language for others, NASAMA is none of these things.
This name, this project, it's a little bit of my children: NA than, SA muel, and MA xine.
Because they were the ones who unknowingly guided me towards this new adventure. They taught me to look at parenthood differently, with more humility, curiosity and confidence.
Each workshop, each project and each support session originates from what I have experienced alongside them.
Supporting expectant and new parents with confidence
Today, I support families in Meyrin, Geneva, the Pays de Gex and online, with a deeply human approach: informing without guilt-tripping, providing concrete tools and enabling everyone to find what suits them.
I am convinced that there is no perfect method or perfect parent. Every family is unique, with its own history, values, and pace.
My role is not to tell you what to do, but to provide you with reliable guidance, to answer your questions and to give you the tools to make informed choices with confidence.
Practical tools for peaceful parenting
Over the years, I have trained in various complementary approaches to support families from pregnancy and during the child's first years.
I lead workshops on physiological babywearing, Dunstan Baby Language®, gestural communication associated with speech (baby signs), baby yoga and children's yoga, as well as circles for mothers and expectant mothers.
All these approaches have one thing in common: they offer simple, practical tools that are easy to integrate into daily life. Because sometimes all it takes is a better understanding of your baby or discovering a new technique to live your daily life with more peace of mind.
Reflexology for women, babies and children
In my meetings with families, I often heard the same concerns come up: tired mothers looking for a space to take care of themselves, pregnant women who want to be supported during this period of great change, but also parents who would like to have gentle tools to support their baby or child in certain daily stages: teething, colds, sleep difficulties, reflux, constipation or periods when baby seems more uncomfortable.
At the same time, I discovered reflexology and its gentle, holistic, and respectful approach to the body. The more I learned about this practice, the more it seemed to naturally fit into Nasama's world.
So I trained in reflexology to enrich my support for women, pregnant women, babies and children.
As with my babywearing, baby sign language, and baby yoga workshops, what motivates me most is sharing knowledge. Beyond the reflexology sessions offered at my practice, I enjoy sharing simple techniques that parents can adopt and integrate into their daily lives.
For me, reflexology is part of the same philosophy as everything I offer at Nasama: to give families concrete tools to better understand, support and take care of themselves and their children.
A holistic approach, always centered on the human being
Beyond the training and tools, what matters most to me is the relationship I build with families. I like to create a space where everyone feels free to ask questions, express doubts, and progress at their own pace, without judgment.
I continue to train regularly to enrich my practice and offer increasingly accurate support, based on solid knowledge and attentive listening.
Whether you come for a parenting workshop, a reflexology session or simply to chat, you will always be welcomed with kindness, simplicity and authenticity.
My training
Dedicated to providing high-quality services, I have undergone multiple training programs and continue to expand my knowledge regularly.

A strong conviction: parents need support
Since my beginnings in parental support, I have been convinced of one thing: becoming a parent should never be an adventure experienced alone.
This is also why I became involved with the SuperMamans France association , whose mission is to create a volunteer support network for expectant and new mothers.
For several years, I had the privilege of being a "mother-contact" in the Ain region, providing support to mothers in the first few weeks after their baby's birth: a prepared meal, a moment to chat, a presence, a little help in what can sometimes be a hectic daily routine. Today, I continue to happily participate in these pampering sessions as a "mother-gift," offering support to families in the first few weeks after their baby's arrival.
This experience has profoundly shaped my vision of support: sometimes, what a family needs most is simply to feel surrounded, supported and understood.
I was a "mommy-gift" in the Ain region for 3 years, and I continue with pleasure to participate in pampering sessions, which help to relieve families during the first weeks of adaptation to the arrival of a newborn.
